European Championships Munich 2022

(Robert Tanania) Heute beginnt mit den European Championships Munich 2022 das größte Multisportevent in Deutschland seit den Olympischen Spielen von 1972. Unter dem Slogan „Back to the Roofs“ finden seit heute neun spannende und vielfältige Europameisterschaften statt. Bis zum 21. August 2022 werden Europas beste Athletinnen und Athleten in den Sportarten Beachvolleyball, Kanu-Rennsport, Klettern, Leichtathletik, Radsport, Rudern, Tischtennis, Triathlon und Turnen um Edelmetall wetteifern. Gestern fand auf dem Olympiaberg in München die Eröffnungs-Pressekonferenz mit Bayerns Innen- und Sportminister Joachim Herrmann, der Münchner Sportbürgermeisterin Verena Dietl, der Staatssekretärin im Bundesinnenministerium Juliane Seifert, der Geschäftsführerin des Olympiapark München Marion Schöne und der Sportlerin Alex Burghardt (Leichtathletik) und dem Sportler Yannick Flohé (Klettern) statt.
