Das Amerikanische Generalkonsulat feiert den Nationalfeiertag der USA, es ist der Independence Day.
Der 4. Juli erinnert an die Ratifizierung der Unabhaengigkeitserklärung am 4. Juli 1776 durch den Kontinentalkongress,
somit waren die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika unabhängig.
General Konsul Conrad Tribble feierte den Amerikanischen Unabhängigkeitstag mit geladenen Gaesten aus Politik und Wirtschaft.
Stimmmung kam auf als die „Cuba-Boayrischen“ richtig aufspielten. Eine Bayrische Musikgruppe, die in Kuba Bayrische Musik spielt und bei uns die Kubanische Musik.

Each Independence Day, Americans in all their diuersity gather withfriends to celebrate the freedoms that we have cherished since 1776. Special foods, music, ceremony, and entertainment mark the day, which typically ends ander afirework-lit night sky. Today, it is ourgreat pleasure that you havejoined usfor our version ofthis great American tradition.
Americans and Bavarians are working together to help solve the world’s most diffcultforeign policy challenges, reinvigorate the global economy, and advance the interests of our Citizens. For decades the foundation ofthis key Cooperation has been the strong personal connections between Germany and the United States that span hundreds ofyears, beginning with thefirst German immigrants, who trauelled to America in the 1600s. They discovered a land that ojfered boundless possibilities. Hundreds ofyears later, this remains true. While many of you haue already discovered the splendors ofthe United States, we invite you to help others „Discover America!“ and all ofits attractions, too. The photos on display inside highlight the natural wonders ofthe country. Thefood and drink will evokefond memories ofvisits to the United States. The music -jazz, rock, Dixieland, and blues -unites Americans with the rest ofthe world. All ofthis and more is waiting to be discovered. The United States remains one ofthe world’s most interesting places and our doors are wide open to visitorsfrom Germany and the entire world.
